Dr Thomas Wencker

Dr Thomas Wencker studied Political Science, Sociology and Political Science of South Asia in Heidelberg and at the National University of Singapore. He completed his postgraduate studies in June 2016 with a doctoral thesis on the emergence of violent non-state conflict actors and the dynamics of violent intrastate conflict. He has also worked on several research projects, as a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at Heidelberg University and as a senior staff member at the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research. Thomas has been working as an evaluator at DEval’s Competence Centre for Evaluation Methodology since January 2017.
