HinSchG Reporting Portal

The German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) came into force on 2 July 2023 (Section 41 on 3 June 2023) and transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937 (EU Whistleblowing Directive) into national law. It is Art. 1 of the Law on Better Protection of Whistleblowers and on the Implementation of the Directive on the Protection of Persons Who Report Breaches of Union Law of 31 May 2023.

On DEval’s whistleblower portal, violations, grievances or illegal conduct at the institute can be reported anonymously.
