Dr Mascha Rauschenbach
Mascha Rauschenbach is a senior evaluator and team leader in the evaluation department “Fragile Statehood, Conflict, and Governance.” Since 2018 she has been conducting strategic evaluations of German development cooperation and studies in various fields such as climate change adaptation, rural energy supply, and democracy promotion at DEval. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Prof. Sabine Carey's Chair of International Relations at the University of Mannheim. She received her doctorate from the University of Mannheim in 2015 on election campaign strategies in sub-Saharan Africa and graduated in 2010 with a degree in languages, economics, and cultural studies from the University of Passau.
