Alexandra Köngeter
Alexandra Köngeter has started her work as an evaluator at DEval in September 2018. Prior to joining DEval, she worked as an advisor on mainstreaming Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) at the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and as a visiting researcher on carbon insetting at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Nicaragua. She studied geography (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and economics (B.Sc.) in Heidelberg, Santiago de Chile and Bonn with a focus on environmental economics, health economics, development policy and geographical development studies. In parallel to her studies, she gained relevant insights in the field of development and climate change research at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).
