Helge Roxin
After his Master in Political Science, Public Law and Newer History in Freiburg and Glasgow, Helge Roxin started working for the German Development Service (DED) as a young professional in Zambia.
Thereafter, he worked as an assistant at the University of Freiburg dealing with development politics, African politics and history, and introductions to political science. His field research focused on Ghana and Zambia.
In 2006 he went to the Arnold-Bergstraesser-Institute and worked as a senior researcher. In the following years he focused on impact-evaluations, both as an evaluator and as a coordinator. Between 2009-2013 he was a member of the team of speakers for the development politics section of the Association for Evaluation (DeGEval) in Germany. Since December 2012 Helge Roxin has been working for DEval as a senior evaluator and team leader on a number of evaluations.
