Stefanie Knoll
Stefanie Knoll has been working as an evaluator at DEval since March 2023. Previously, she was a research assistant at ifo Institute – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, where she worked on labor market related topics and structural change. She completed her Bachelor and Master studies at the University of Bayreuth and the Technical University of Dresden (BA International Economics and Development and MA International Relations) with study related stays abroad in Lebanon and Taiwan. In her Bachelor and master theses she analyzed, based on microdata sets, the determinants of migration flows from Mexico to the USA and labor market participation of recent refugees in Germany. She gained experience in the field of development cooperation through an internship for GIZ in a project on rural and agricultural finance in Uganda and internships for non-governmental organizations in Colombia and Lebanon.
