Lea Kleinsorg

Lea Kleinsorg has been working as an evaluator at DEval since December 2023. Previously, she was a PhD researcher at the University of Antwerp in the field of social sciences. In her doctoral thesis, she examines the power effects of the discourse on female genital mutilation on affected and endangered girls and women in Germany. She is close to completing her PhD.

Lea Kleinsorg has a geographical and political science background and studied “Political and Social Studies” at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg and “Disaster Management and Sustainable Development” at the Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
