Dirk Hoffmann

Dirk Hoffmann began his work at the German Institute for Development Evaluation in November 2019 and supports the ECD team (especially in the implementation of the EvalConnect project). Previously, he had worked for many years in development cooperation as a freelance evaluator and consultant, as well as a CIM expert and country trainer for Bolivia at the Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) of GIZ. He has studied Latin American studies (FU Berlin) and environmental science (HU Berlin). Hoffmann is an expert in climate change adaptation and the SDGs/Agenda 2030 and is author of various publications on climate change and sustainable development.
