Carolin Wicke
Carolin Wicke joined DEval in August 2023. Previously, she took part in the postgraduate research programme at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), in the area of sanitation governance and planetary health. She holds a double-degree Bachelor in Geography from the University of Kiel and Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil, and a Master’s degree in Global Change Ecology from the University of Bayreuth. In her master thesis she analysed the current status and future development of food self-sufficiency in the Upper Franconia region.
