Our Evaluations

The starting point for the “Exit processes in development cooperation” synthesis study is a strategic reorientation in German development cooperation. The study was completed in 2021.

Gender equality and peacebuilding are two key objectives of German development cooperation. But are both objectives and their interlinkages taken into account sufficiently when putting development policy into practice? A DEval evaluation in several post-conflict countries seeks to answer these questions.

The DEval Opinion Monitor 2021 has examined in what way the media reports on the topic of development cooperation and what impact media content has on our attitude towards the topic.

Wars and conflicts force millions of people worldwide to flee their homes. Within the framework of the German Government's 'Partnership for Prospects in the Middle East', DEval has investigated how short-term assistance and development cooperation can be meaningfully connected in order to improve the lives of both refugees and the local population in the host communities.
