Guide to practical application of the OECD evaluation criteria
The new OECD publication “Applying Evaluation Criteria Thoughtfully” provides a practical guide to using the OECD evaluation criteria. Among other things, it gives details on the six criteria and how to use them. Example cases show how the criteria can be applied in practice.
DEval also made a number of design and content contributions. Working together with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, it developed questions to support users in viewing the development criteria against the backdrop of the Sustainable Development Goals. The guide also illustrates how the criteria are used based on practical examples from DEval evaluations.
In order to continue adapting and optimising the guide, the OECD is calling on all evaluators to share their experiences with the evaluation criteria in an online survey.
