Sabine Palmreuther
Sabine Palmreuther started at DEval on September 1st, 2024 as part of the ECD project. She has several years of experience in international development cooperation in IFIs and technical expertise in strengthening governance structures and evaluation capacities in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Europe at the local, institutional and regional levels. At the World Bank, she developed and led cross-sectoral capacity development and learning programs across a wide range of topics, including local government, sustainable local governance, decentralization, violence prevention, institutional strengthening, integrity building, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning [MEL]). Her areas of focus include strengthening local governance and evaluation capacities to promote participatory planning, decision-making, and supporting the localization of the SDGs through evidence-based policy design and implementation.
In the context of international development cooperation projects, Sabine Palmreuther has worked in depth on strengthening participatory approaches and integrity mechanisms in local governance, as well as managed inclusive multi-stakeholder learning processes (South-South-North learning) to promote multi-stakeholder dialogue and knowledge exchange.
