Mirjana Köder

Mirjana Koeder has been an evaluator at DEval since September 2020. Before joining DEval, she conducted qualitative research on the topic of resource governance in light of the 2030 Agenda taking the example of competition for groundwater in Azraq/Jordan as part of the postgraduate programme at the German Development Institute (DIE). She also gained practical experience at KfW Development Bank in Frankfurt am Main and Kigali/Rwanda as well as with non-governmental organisations (including a stay abroad in Kosovo), particularly in the fields of fragile statehood, good governance and reconciliation.

Mirjana Koeder studied International Politics and Peace Research (MA) as well as Political and Social Studies/Pedagogy (BA) in Tuebingen, Wuerzburg and Paris. She also deepened her understanding of multilateral approaches to global challenges through study visits to Russia and Iran. In her Master's thesis, she dealt with the causes of the establishment of peace education in the Rwandan curriculum and its content.
