Miriam Amine
Before joining DEval in 2012, Miriam Amine worked as project manager for monitoring and evaluation at AGEG Consultants for three years. In her position as project manager she was in charge of the acquisition, management and backstopping of complex evaluations as well as evaluation framework contracts for the Commission of the European Union and GIZ. In addition she was deployed as junior evaluator in three EU country evaluations, the thematic evaluation of UNFPA support to maternal health and the thematic evaluation of the ADC gender policy. In this context she also successfully completed TrainEval – a training course for evaluation in development cooperation.
Prior to this, Miriam worked in the office of Ska Keller, Member of the European Parliament, where she was dealing with EU Development Cooperation and migration policy. Miriam completed the Joint Master’s Program of the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance and the International Labour Organization in Public Policy and Human Development where she specialised in social policy design and migration and holds a bachelor degree in European Studies. Next to her university education, Miriam worked at the program section of the Goethe Institute and the Gender Department of the Heinrich Boell Foundation in Ethiopia.
