Dr Anna von Werthern
Dr Anna von Werthern works as an evaluator with a focus on qualitative methods in the Community of Practice (CoP) at DEval's Competence Centre for Evaluation Methodology (KZM) since May 2024. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich, where she evaluated programs and projects in the field of education and researched, published and taught on the topic of evaluation. She completed her doctorate in educational science, psychology and ethnology/intercultural communication in Munich and Florence on the subject of theory-based evaluation. She works as a trainer and consultant in the field of evaluation, primarily in the context of programme and project evaluations of public institutions in the education sector, as well as in the private sector, where she supports data-based organizational transformation processes. She has been an active member of the Gesellschaft für Evaluation e. V. (DeGEval) since 2013, including as spokesperson for the Education and Training Working Group (now the Professionalization Working Group).
