Anna Sting
Anna Sting has been working as an evaluator and team leader at DEval since January 2024. Previously, she held a position as researcher and project manager at the Phenix Center for Economic and Informatics Studies in Amman, Jordan. There, she was responsible for managing several development projects, studies, and evaluations for national and international partners in the fields of social protection, green economy and just transition, economic participation of vulnerable groups (with a focus on women and PwD) and decent work, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030.
As a freelance project consultant, she further developed several safeguarding analyses focusing on environmental, human rights and gender aspects for planned development projects in Jordan, at the interface of socio-economic and ecological objectives.
Before her stay in Jordan, Anna Sting coordinated a project aiming to foster public debate about Europe at the Law Faculty of Humboldt University Berlin. She also served as a policy officer for an association of providers of services of general interests and as a researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She holds an LL.M. in Public International and European Law from Erasmus University. During her bachelor's studies, she majored in European Laws with minors in European Studies and Dutch Law.
