Alisa Buchstab
Alisa Buchstab has been working at DEval since August 2024. Previously, she worked as a consultant for the World Bank in Washington D.C., where she worked on projects in the health sector in Chile, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic. She gained additional work experience as junior advisor in the sector programme on education at GIZ in Germany.
Alisa Buchstab holds a B.A. in International Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Passau and a M.Sc. in Economic Development from the University of Lund in Sweden. For her master’s thesis, she studied the impact of Brazil’s conditional cash transfer program, Bolsa Familia, on education outcomes using a regression discontinuity design.
