Bis 2003 Studium der Psychologie in Freiburg und Cambridge; 2003-2007 Promotion in Sozialpsychologie an der Universität Cambridge; anschließend Postdoktorand an den Universitäten Cardiff und Southampton; 2008-2010 Referent in der Abteilung Evaluation der Geschäftsstelle des Wissenschaftsrates, u.a. Mitarbeit bei der Durchführung von institutionellen Evaluationen und strategischen Stellungnahmen; 2010-2012 Fellow und Nachwuchsgruppenleiter am Zukunftskolleg der Universität Konstanz; 2013-2015 Leiter des Referats „Monitoring, Evaluation, Studien“ des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes, u.a. Vergabe und Management von Projekt- und Programmevaluationen sowie Unterstützung der Entwicklung eines wirkungsorientierten Monitoringsystems für den Förderbereich des BMZ. Seit November 2015 Abteilungsleiter am DEval.
