Prof. Dr Jörg Faust

Jörg Faust is director of the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) and Extraordinary Professor of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He holds a doctoral degree in political science from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and a Master in Business Administration from Mannheim University. Before joining DEval he was Head of Department at the German Development Institute (DIE). He is the Chair of the OECD/DAC Network on Development Evaluation (EvalNet) and a member of the scientific advisory board for the Bertelsmann Transformation Index (BTI).
